Thank you!
Lovely stitch that looks really effective in linen.

Knit with DK weight linen yarn. Can also be made with sport weight but will come out slightly smaller.
Gauge 20 stitches/10cm on 3.75mm needles (US 5)
Finished size for these instructions 9" square/18cm square approx using 25g of eco-stitch yarn.
If you want to make it bigger, the pattern is a multiple of 8 stitches, so you can add 8, 16, 24 stitches etc. to the cast on stitches.

How to knit the dandelion flower:
Insert right-hand needle into the third stitch down from the second stitch on left needle (this space forms the centre of the flower) and draw through a loop, leave loop on right-hand needle and knit 2, make second loop into same stitch, knit 2, make third loop into same stitch.
Note: Make sure that your loop stitch is loose enough to lie flat and not distort your work.
You need to be a bit of a contortionist to make the 3rd loop. Sharp, pointed needles recommended. I used KnitPro Symfonie needles.
