alpaca linen yarn

A beautiful, unique luxury yarn, made with 2 plies of linen and 2 plies of fine alpaca yarn.
The undyed base yarn is a dreamy, creamy white, and most of the hand-dyed colour ways are dyed using natural dyes, resulting in a delicate heathered effect with very subtle variations in shade between the 2 different fibres. There are also a few colours dyed with fibre reactive dyes. A sport weight, ideal for colour work, cables, lace, or just plain stocking and garter stitch, Alpalini is a truly versatile, trans-seasonal yarn.
Important note about skein weight: Some skeins are just below 100g, due to variations in moisture in the air, which affects moisture absorption/dryness of the yarn. The skeins are all the same length (250m) despite slight variations in weight.
