FLAXI FIR TREE DUO KIT
KIT for making 2 fir trees out of linen yarn i-cords (knitted tubes).
Kit contains material for making one dark green tree and one variegated tree:
Green linen yarn (2 shades: Olivi and Kiwi)
Length of natural linen yarn for attaching beads.
2m of craft wire for inserting inside coil.
2 pieces of wool-coated wire or pipe cleaner (colours may vary) for topper.
30 natural wooden beads.
Instructions.
You will also need:
2 DPNS 4mm (US 6) or circular needle 4mm if preferred for making an i-cord.
Large sewing needle or taspestry needle.
Size of trees:
12-20cm tall, depending on width of coil and height of topper.
Although the kit is designed to make 2 free-standing trees, you could also make 4 smaller ones as hanging decorations. You can also use other materials you may have to embellish them to your taste.
