KIT for Compostable Eco Cloth (plus free stitch markers)
Knit yourself an eco-friendly cloth for use around the home. It can be used as a face cloth, wash cloth or dish cloth, whatever takes your fancy.
It is made with 100% natural linen and a plant-dyed linen (Rosemary) to add an accent of colour. When you have finished with it (but it will last a long time!), the cloth can be composted. Linen is completely biodegradable if it has not been dyed with synthetic dyes, which is the case here, so no risk to the soil.
Linen is also hypo-allergenic, anti-bacterial and naturally exfoliating. These are just a few of the qualities of this truly eco-friendly yarn.
The cloth measures 10” square approx.
This is an easy level pattern, featuring a raised waffle texture produced by slip stitches. There are no purl stitches, only knit and slip stitches.
The plant-dyed Rosemary yellow pops even more on the reverse side.
This kit contains a mini skein of natural linen yarn, a butterfly skein of plant-dyed yarn (yellow from Rosemary) and the pattern, to knit one cloth. Set of 5 bronze-coloured bee stitch markers included.
