ALPALINI alpaca linen blend yarn

Our new yarn looks great in plain stockinette of in stranded colour work. The latter is difficult to achieve with 100% linen yarn, but when it is combined with the alpaca, it can be used to create multi-coloured designs, as in my current project, the Navelli top by Boylandknitworks on Ravelry.

These look so lovely. I have just ordered a whole kg of your yarn to natural dye. What do you mordant your linen yarn with? Is it Alum acetate? Thank you. Louise

Yes, I use aluminium acetate. I have tried different methods/recipes with aluminium acetate, and most give satisfactory results.
